The government is not doing enough to support charities affected by the coronavirus crisis, which will do “untold damage”, MPs warned yesterday. Over 70 charities submitted evidence to the Digital, Culture, Media and Sport Committee inquiry into the impact of Covid-19 on the charity sector, which published its report today. The report criticises the government for being too slow to make funding available.
